The Pacific Southwest District is offering boys and girls throughout San Diego & Imperial Counties a chance to participate in the AAU Pacific Southwest District Basketball Championships. This tournament will qualify local teams for competition in the AAU National Basketball Championships and the AAU Junior Olympic Games held this summer.
Many teams from our district have advanced to the AAU Junior Olympic National Basketball Championships held throughout the nation to play against the best teams in the country in a variety of competition levels. However, many more have been content playing locally for the gold, silver, bronze, and copper medals awarded in each age division for boys and for girls.
Tournament dates will be based on age division interest and the national entry deadline over the next 30 days. A minimum of three (3) teams representing two (2) clubs are required to play in a District Age Championship in order for participants to advance to the National Championship in that age division. The entry fee will be $150 per team.
